chords for a jam

i've been asked to play at a gig on friday and we decided to play some dave stuff...since i'm playing backup guitar, and im no dmb expert, i was wondering if there was a place i could find some chords for the background...i should mention i just started teaching myself the guitar. any help would be great. thanks

I suggest.. if youre looking for easy stuff that you can play that people can jam with.. LIE IN OUR GRAVES... the jam is UBER easy.. and i learned the whole thing (verse and everything) after only a few months of learning guitar..

I don't want to piss in your Cheerios here, but is it really a great idea to play a gig if you've just started teaching yourself?

yeah if you're don't know what ya doing.... you'll get cold fingers. Performing with all eyes on you is really different.

I don't think learning Tim's solos is a great idea for starters...
