It surprises me how many narrow minded people are on this Dave board are to different types of music other than Dave's.
The reason being is how open Dave is to all forms of music and how big the Dave fans on this board claim to be but one person asks for input on a song they like and everyone bashes it.

im in to tons of kinds of music, i just cannot belive that anybody would even consider calling rap music. im not narrow minded, i gave rap a chance and it sucked, everytime i do give rap a chance it just reminds me of how much i dont like it. all it is is people talking to a beat, talkin about bustin caps in hos and whatnot. i do however give them all the credit in the world for marketing, the fact that they can sell that junk astounds me. and btw just try and tell me dave listens to snoop, go ahead just try it.

So all rap is about bustin caps and whatnot?? and your not narrow minded?? Today, there is a lot of rap out there that just plain out sucks.. But i would say the exact same thing for a lot of rock and alternative. Plus man, rap is not just about bustin caps and fucking hoes.. If you have ever listened to Kaos, NWA, Rascalz, Public Enemy, Hieroglyphics, and those are just some examples, you'd know that rap is more then your giving it. I'll respect the fact that you don't like the sound rap has, but to say its just about bustin caps and fucking bitches is being very ignorant.

i understand, i was merely commenting on the rap ive heard. i am forced to listen to a rap station in our area everymorining during 1st period and i hate it all. i am so pissed going to 2nd period. i would say the same thing about 50% of the rock i hear these days: simple plan, greenday, starting line, linkin park, hoobastank, good charlotte, they all suck. but i have heard 0 rap i like. please link some good stuff here, id love to be enlightened

Download any of this stuff from limewire or whatever search engine you use.. I don't post mp3's or anything. If you are looking for tab, your best bet would be to try mxtabs, although there are very few tabs out there for rap.
