Man Ii'm still tryin to get this L@LC #41 solo but my fingers can't move tthat fast... I get to about 4:07 then I'm lost any tips on how to speed up my fingers?

just keep practicin, his solo in #41 is nothin, just keep workin at it, and theyll move faster, and eventually, youll be able to do billies solo

Fuck that shit. I can't evenr play the tim solo and Ive been playin what... 2 years? But I suck.

Of course, I"ve hardly practiced it. There are a hella lot more things you can do to fill dave songs than Tim Reynolds

Yeah man I've been playin for four years all I can play is dmb... Just never have as much time for it as I would like to. But dmb is something I enjoy playin so thats what I play...

I think its funny how some people here talk about 3-4 years playing like "I should be able to play Tim's shit no problem!!".

Tim is like a 30 year guitar vetran. Maybe if we all play guitar 12 hours a day for 30 years we MIGHT be that good, given some natural talent.

I can play most of his songs, up to the improv part. My brain is not quick enough to manipulate my fingers, AND figure out what to play next at the same time.

once you've been playing as long as tim has, you don't think anymore, shit just happens.

if anyone wants, i can post some things that started me off to be able solo and shred.

it still takes a while to get to that level but compared to the 30 years some of you were thinking, it will seem like nothing. i basically just practiced soloing 2-3 hours a day starting off with easy ones and working my way up.
theres certain things you wana practice so just tell me if u want me to post some links and stuff for soloing/shredding lessons
