He doesn't have any 2003 or later Taylors. He's been playing with this pickup for quite a long time, and Monk and the sound guys have it set up to sound quite nicely, even if it's not ES :)

I guess he's just old-fashioned that way. There's so much other stuff it goes through anyway that they can make it sound so good.

true...so hows it work? he just "buys"/"gets" his guitars without any electronics on them? then his techs do all the work?

Go with medium strings and you'll never use lights again.

I just switched back from Medium to Custom Light Elixirs on my Taylor, and I can't believe I even TRIED Mediums on there.

Let me kinda run something kinda on the same topic...

When your guitar, Mine for example (Taylor-Dreadnaught Bodystyle)
Has Mediums already on it as mine did (standard string size for the Taylor.) anyway...

Then you go out and buy some Extra lights....and use Extra lights for a couple of months, Then go back to Mediums... would this cause for some Bowing of the neck/buzzing. From switching to quickly?...

Also, If you must switch you guitar would that mean have a "setup" done on it to make up for the tension I guess?..err something. :?

Another question. (On the strings topic, While im at it.) :)

Which is better for the D'Addario EXP series the...

Extended Play Phosphor Bronze Strings or the Extended play 80/20 Bronze Strings?

I've used both, I just cant tell which Bronze is better for which situation.

If this makes any sence whatsoever to you...any clear up of this would be greatly appreciated. 8)
Look up, look down, look all around.
