I am the most stupidest man alive

Post by sjakubek »

i hate myself, i was at the darien lake show last night and i remember ONE song...ONE. (at least it was You Never Know) between me and my other 3 friends, we remembered 8 of the songs that were played. I am never drinking again, it is the most evil thing in the entire world. I'm very curious as to what i was doing for two hours, so if anyone saw a big drunk idiot walking around with a dave and tim tour t shirt on feel free to fill me in as to what the hell i was doing.

you went over to the snack station and started hitting on this 40 year old woman...she slapped you and you went into the bathroom...you came out and hour later and with pee all over your pants, hugged a big burley black man before screaming out "freebird!" loud enough for Dave to give you the finger...at least I think that was you...

This is exactly the reason I will refuse to drink before or at a show. It can absoutely ruin it. The good thing is that it usually only takes one time for a person to realize this.

you picked a bad show to forget about. :P

i never drink at concerts, that's what bars are for. it ruins things at concerts.

at MSG we had to walk out through a very poorly ventilated hallway with some guy who had thrown up all over himself. he even had it on the back of his pants and it smelled awful.

at polaris on tuesday we say a guy with pee all over the front of his pants wandering down the side of the road. he proceeded to fall over and then put his shoes on the wrong feet. at least he entertained while we were sitting in traffic.

damnit that would explain my bruised knuckles and black eye. and i was wondering where that stain in my pants came from. But seriously, i def did learn my lesson. the first i think i did when i got home was to read the setlist and i felt like crying. at least i have 5 more concerts this summer to try to make it up.

I wont sit lawn ever again, at least for dmb shows. Its way too mellow up there. The energy in the front is absolutely incredible (or at least it was at the gorge when I was there.) After having that feeling, I dont think I could go back to the lawn.

lawn is cool if you're with a lot of people. the only annoying part is how crowded it can get. SUPPOSEDLY, (since i don't remember) at darien lake if you went pretty high up you could still see somewhat decently and there was a lot of room. I guess if you're all the way up on the lawn already you might as well go higher on the lawn and have some room around you.

Alpine is like that, too, and that's exactly what my girlfriend and I are planning on doing for the first Alpine show. Bring a blanket up near the top of the hill where no one is at, have a beer or two, and just chill and listen to some Dave Matthews Band on what I'm hoping is a beautiful Wisconsin summer night.

Night 2 we'll be dancin' our fool heads off in the middle of the crowd with a bunch of our friends, though.
