I recommend the Aguilar OBP-1 preamp instead of the standard Bartolini.

I opted out of the bartolini actually. I got the Aggie OBP-1 instead. I should have edited. But hey...I'm lazy.

So did you order one brand new from Modulus? How long before it arrives?

I know about a year ago a new order from Modulus was sitting at about 6 months, but that could have dropped due to the price increase around that time.

It was just "almost finished" and nobody had boughten it, so I said I can screw the black pearloid pickguard and the long wait and just get the white anyway, which i think is a bit more good looking.

If it is still at the factory, I bet you could get them to switch it out. . . but if you already like the white, then I guess you're ok.

stefan has the same one, he plays it on the bridge benefit concert, it's sooo sick and i've heard rave reviews about it being the best acoustic bass bar none
