Help with replacing acoustic Ibanez pickguard

Post by max »

I've been looking everywhere for an Ibanez pickguard and I can't find anyone who sells them. The problem is that the pickguard that's on the guitar now has a unique shape and the wood underneath is a different color than the rest of the top, so a generic acoustic pickguard won't look right--it has to be the Ibanez shape.

Ibanez lists pickguards on the "Parts" section of their website, but there's no way of ordering them directly. What do I do?! Ibanez owners must replace their pickguards at some point. . .

I'm not sure, but shooting Ibanez an email couldn't hurt.

I emailed Ibanez and they never responded, but I just ordered one from an "official" Ibanez dealer . . . it's just a pain in my ass though because I gotta drive half an hour just for a pickguard
