Thats not being mean. When you sell something you want to get as much as you can for it. And just because you ask for more doesnt mean you will get it. The trick is to ask for more than its worth so that the guy will say your price is too high and offer to pay something thats still more than its worth. Its not mean. Something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. The more you ask the more you will probably get, but dont ask for too much because then no one will even offer you a price.

No. Dude thats not taking advantage of them. Taking advantage would be selling something that doesnt work highly over priced or whatever. You're an idiot if you dont want to get more money out of selling something. You ask for more money, so that the person will offer you more. Its not taking advantage. You must not be very experienced is selling things.
