How long have you guys been playing ?

Guys

Just wanna get an idea how long you've been playing. I've been playing off and on for a few years. I find I can grasp other songs alot easier than Dave songs. What other songs/bands do you guys like playing ?

Almost two years...Jack Johnson, Dispatch, Howie Day, pretty much anything though. I know a lot of random things too, just from people requesting them

just under 2 years.... i have most all dave stuff down very well, but whether i can play all the songs cleanly start to finish varies by the day- sometimes i can, sometimes my fingers dont feel like working and it doesnt sound as great. Other than that i know a whole assload of completely random somgs by all kinds of artists. and a ton of tenacious d.

about 2 years i think, learned it on my own probably like everone else here, i wish i started earlier tho, dave was my motivation to start learning so i basically play him, howie day, jack johnson, and some random guitar jams

almost 3 years.

counting crows. howie day (now) incubus. my favorite thing to play though is to put winamp on random and play lead on every song that comes up. trying to improve on improv. no play on words intended

I messed around with a guitar when i was younger but got serious about 2-3 years ago. Mostly Dave but also some upcoming artist like Granian and Pat Mcgee Band. You guys should check out the Granian stuff. I think most DMB fans would enjoy his music.
