Well I live in Canada, and I have several close friends who are DMB nuts like me. Actually I think as a percentage, 30-40% are fans, 30% like DMB but are not huge fanes and I would say only 10-20 % of my friends dislike them. In fact this past summer I've thrown on DMB ocasionally when at a party and I was amazed at how many people said..."thats great stuff". My best friend who lives about an hour from me was telling me one day....'man, I watched this concert on TV last night of this guy playing for a tonne of people in central park.....fuck...it was amazing...do you know who that is' !! And my roomates 19 year old brother just borrowed all my CD's to listen to....so its occured to me that the word is definately spreading.

Also, there is a guy I work with who always jokes around with me. He always calls DMB fans hippies. He also says I should start doing drugs since I am a musician, and that's what they all do. He is just a big smartass, like me, lol. He's a kewl guy, actualy, just always is a big smartass. Plus, I am not a hippy, prep, or anything like that. I am a freak, a freak of society. I was when I was kicked out in 4th grade, long and painful story. I now am happy, and like being a freak, and embrace it.
