anybody here ever heard anything off Stuff Busted? The whole album full of Dave mess ups. I heard a recording of So Much To Say where he forgot the words, and started asking Carter what they were. It was funny stuff.

there are some hilarious mess ups over the years. on my other computer i have a recording of watchtower where dave gets hit in the face with a beach ball.
"the hour is getting laaaaaaaaaaaaa- UNF.....fuck THAT SHIT!!!!!"
i'll have to post that when i get my other comp unpacked.
there is a Last stop from 12/98 where they fuck up the end big time...it sounds awful.

Yeah, over on http://www.sharingthegroove.org they had the Stuff Busted Compilation of for Bit Torrent Download but Im home for the summer on dial-up so I didnt get a chance to d/l it. It looked pretty cool though. Have you ever heard of the "Till We Dance Away" Compilation, I guess its an early comp. of all the best jams to their songs, I want that really bad too.

screw ups in concert are funny. i saw radiohead in 2001, and they started no surprises and thom forgot to sing. the whole band stopped and he was like "what? are we starting it now then? my moniter is broken, icant hear shit." then later they started into karma police and thom goes "jonny, you play piano on this one..."
there is a rapunzel also, where the band fucks up BAD but it turns into a really cool jam with Tim.

i thought he said that because someone threw a t-shirt on-stage and it landed covering up the mic.Jay wrote:there are some hilarious mess ups over the years. on my other computer i have a recording of watchtower where dave gets hit in the face with a beach ball.

The best screwup I ever saw was at a Hip concert a few years ago (I think it was the New Years even show/2000).
anyway, during the Hundredth Meridian Gord sang the first verse normally, then didn't sing for about 3-4 minutes (the band went into a prolonged "jam," jam being in quotations because, let's be honest, they make great music but aren't exactly the most talented).. anyway... for those that know the song, during the part where he goes "I remember Buffalo/I remember Hengelo/It would seem to me I remember every single fuckin' thing I know," (after not singing the second verse of the song) he said "I remember Tokyo/I remember [something incoherent]/it would seem to me... I can't remember the second verse of this song."
best coverup ever.. so funny..
Apparently there's also a great recovery by Jason Mraz playing "You and I both" somewhere on the net.. he smacks his head into the microphone then incorporates it into the song (haven't heard it myself but my buddy told me about it)..
