basically, is it worth the 50? i've got a martin dcx1e but a shitty fender frontman 15 watt so it'll prob sound like crapp.

some people have have been dissing it

i have a 15 year old randal electric crappy amp, that sounds horrible no matter what. The pedal sounds pretty damn good through that, ive played it through the fender acoustasonic amp im getting soon and its amazing.

the zoom sample is probably not on the top of filmdude list of things to record. Did you try searching online for samples?
