#41 Realization

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

#41 Realization

DAMMIT!...I just realized i've been playing the 3rd chord in the intro of 41 as x7578x instead of x7548x...its not a big deal but it sucks training my fingers to play it the new way instead of the way i'm used to...oh well...just venting...i'll get used to it soon enough...

Ouch...and what a stretch that "new" chord is, eh? I'm sure it feels good now that you've got it though 8)

I think it's funny that Dave didn't play that chord normally on the Benaroya Hall DVD, he plays it without the 4th finger. I wonder if his hands were sore.

The Dave solo DVD of his Benaroya Hall Performance on 10/24/02 It was recorded by a fan and made into a dvd by fans and then spread around the dmb community by fans. There was a B&P Tree for it about a month ago, I just got my copy a few days ago, its very good.

Your best bet is watching the Video Trading Forums over on http://www.sharingthegroove.org or just posting a request for a b&p of it under DVD Trading or B&P's.

Wow..i guess I'm just coming across this realization then too...

But I dunno, just tried that chord...does sound nice, but I'm so used to x7578x it's gonna be tough to switch. Also, I tend to just throw out what dave plays for the verse and play the intro chords....and I could really forsee this "new" chord giving me problems.
My "gitter" was my best investment
