SMTS => Too Much

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

SMTS => Too Much

Post by GratefulDMB »

Yo, I was just wondering if anyone has tabbed out or will tab out the part on DMB live in Central Park after so much to say and the beginning of Too much where dave does the fast strumming and a lot of muting. ANd yeah someone will probably say to just do a lot of muting, but he throws in some variations i'd like to know. This would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's a common segue called Anyone Seen the Bridge and the tab is on the main site.

After he plays the part of ASTB posted on the site, Dave still messes around and mutes a lot while Leroi is playing, similar to the way he jams in Ants at Central Park while Boyd is soloing. I'm not too sure if it's tabbable, but I think that may be what his question is referring to.

i'm pretty sure that he is just muting the strings with his fretting hand and just strumming.

yeah man, I was just asking a simple question. Just some technical stuff. I wasn't asking a retarded ass question, I didn't know what this little jam was called, or even if it had a name. But now i know, thats why questions are asked.
