i dont know allot about basses, but i know peavys guitars arent great. i know your just starting and this is perfect, but someday youll need to upgrade. looks nice.

when i was first lookin for a bass and amp, a friend of mine, who is professionally a sound and equipment man for bands, said to stay away from anything with the word "Peavey" on it. i started with a fender jazz and it was amazing until i got my warwick(which makes me not want to play anything else)...but if you like the peavey, thats all that matters
