ok, from the verse your hands are at frets 10 and 9, strings a and d. when transitioning to the chorus from the verse you have to slide your hands from the 10th fret all the way down to the 3rd fret leaving you plenty of time to mute the stings "with your fretting hand" and strum with the same struming the chorus will be in and there you have that "chick" sound. in other words i think i agree with b-dog :twisted:

except that the mute comes after the first G strum...
