Just a couple questions--a friend and I are going to be putting on a D&T style show next year, and I'm just wondering what scales fit what songs... Like, #41 is in the key of G--do I just play a straight G scale, or does Tim use a Dorian scale thing, another mode, or something entirely different?
Also, just wondering if there's any place on the net (or this site) that has jam tracks for some of Dave's songs--I know the old dmbtabs.com did, just wondering if there's anyplace else that has them or will have them.
Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": The food court is downstairs. The cookie stand is upstairs. It's not like we're talking quantum physics here.
i've wanted something like that too. jam tracks are just looped samples of parts of songs where timmy or whoever would normally be going off in his solo.

Well I dont know about audio samples but Im sure if you just said what songs youre wondering about me or someone else could tell you what part of the song you should be playing. Or make a recording if it was really needed.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think when I stumbled upon this site early last year, Kanter had something like that. I remember downloading and jamming to looped samples of tripping billies and I think dancing nancies and maybe even 41. But that was awhile ago and I could be mistaking it for another site. But I'm pretty sure it was this one.
