DMB CD Collection ??

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

DMB CD Collection ??

Post by DSeibel »

Hi

I have most of the Dave studio CD's however I would like to get your input on a complete DMB collection. I am most concerned with studio, Live albums, and any other's you can think of. Can someone direct me to a web site, or give me a list.

Thanks

Dave

Just go to the official website's discography on http://www.dmband.com/sights/sights_main.asp
As far as studio albums go, I STRONGLY recomend Before These Crowded Streets!

Live: I'd say either Live in Chicago or Live at Red Rocks. The Dave and Tim album Live at Luther is excellent too. But as far as band albums, Chicago or Red Rocks. Also, the Gorge set came out last summer and that includes a DVD, so it's worth checking out.

Others: Dave's solo album (Some Devil) is pretty steller as well. It takes a few listens through for some to like it though.

If you want concert downloads I would go here, http://www.antsmarching.org Go to Tour Central and just browse through each show and download as many as you can. They are not official releases, but they are all live and most have very good quality. So if you want, give that a try :-)

How can anyone NOT think that Red Rocks Disc 1 is the best single DMB CD ever pressed.

All 1995 jammed out songs

Seek Up
Proudest Monkey->Satellite
Two Step(timmy Jam)->BOWA
Recently->Water-Wine Jam->LIOG
Nancies->Warehouse

AND THEY ARE ALL AMAZING VERSIONS! Honestly guys...come on

And while it's not AS good, Red Rocks disc 2 with some amazing versions of songs......fuckgin great timmy jam on Rhyme and Reason......RIDICULOUS drum solo by Carter to start off a great #36.....Great watchtower to end along with a sick solo Typical...come on guys...just come on

Finally someone who knows what theyre talking about.

Listener supported was an average show...it showcased what a typical dmb concert can be like, but it didn't even come close to showing what the band can do when theyre inspired. None of the other live releases have the hunger in them that Red Rocks did.
