i play until i break a string. im pretty sure these strings are like 4 months old, but i have a fresh pack of elixer's in my drawer.

I restrung today

but my hands were all sweaty

cause its a fucking million degrees in here

and its real hard to grip the string and wind it

i find it amazing that people say d'addarios suck!!! do you think the sound of Daves string suck? if no then you contradict yourself since he uses d'addarios..however i do agree a fresh set of strings always sounds better, so while the fact that he gets them restrung before each concert (if he does) may improve the sound, i don't think he would choose strings that "suck"

He always restrings though so it's ok....and where I live (Arkansas) everythings much cheaper...Elixirs are only like 8 bucks...hahahaha

dadarrios have the best sound of all strings... for a few days, dave has his restrung every night before he goes out, sooo... yes his sound is good, but have him play a few weeks on 1 set of those and he'll sound bad.

i've had on the same G-string for a week.

after a while, all this nasty sort of crust starts to build up

but then you run your fingers up and down it, and it's all better

and when it vibrates........it's soooooo good

I think dave could make a guitar with rusted strings sound good, to be honest.

It's more in his fingers then the strings, trust me.
