Taylor 310 for sale or trade

Hey folks,

I have a 2002 Taylor 310 I'm considering selling. I want to get a grand auditorium (x14) Taylor that has electronics so that I can do some recordings. Ideally, I want to get a 514ce or 714ce (or 514e, 714e... no cutaway necessary).

I'll offer the 310 + $$$ if anyone has a used 514 or 714 that they're looking to part with. An older 1990's model is fine, as long as the integrity of the sound is not comprimised. I'd also consider an outright sale of the 310.

don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think anyone is going to trade a 714ce for a 310&$$$...I could be wrong, but...I think you will have better luck on ebay selling to a new player...the 700 series is very nice...I wish you the best of luck with getting one

Well, the thought is that there may be people out there that fit the following:

1. Have a grand auditorium but would rather have a dreadnought.
2. Have a guitar w/ electronics, but never use the electronics
3. Have a 714ce and 514ce, need some cash, but still want to own a Taylor.

ill give you my hofner for the 310... its a classic. 30 years old, in great condition, plays easy. its a 12 string... im gonna work on it to make it better... umm.... stuff...

Why not have a pickup installed? I have a 2000 310 that I just put a Fishman Matrix Natural 1 under-the-saddle pickup installed into. It sounds great.....I just plug into my computer and I'm all set. It cost me about $150 when all was said and done. Are you sure spending the $$$ on a 700 series is necessary if wall you want to do is record yourself?

I had considered adding electronics to the guitar- I may still do it. However, I'd like to get an instrument with a smaller body that has more defined highs. I have 3 dreadnoughts right now and wanted something a little different.
