Seeing how you're new to the boards, I'll refrain from an almost certain smart-ass remark I would normally make.

That was a " Smart-Ass " remark

but it is true , some topics are just ... too much , anyone can say , oh well im a better singer than Dave , but everyone on this board would object with that due to the fact that they are fans of Dave ....

It would be the whole Mayer / Dave thing over and over again

Believe me.. the fact that he has sold 5 million albums is a far cry from symbolizing how great of a singer/guitar player Dave Matthews is.

the Spice Girls have probably sold more albums than Dave. I will leave it at that.

this all comes back to the argument over who the best guitar player is. i am absolutely positive the greatest guitar player probably hasn't sold any albums and could possibly live in spain or cuba. he totally rocks harder than anyone on the radio. but nobodies ever heard of him cuz it's just way over any of our heads.

like tim reynolds really has no commercial appeal. so very few people have heard of him outside the DMB boards. same with many of the greatest guitar players.
