Are you sure about the 4 to 2 slide on the A string, or is it a big stretch? I can't hear any sign that he slides on the L@LC recording, and a slide doesn't make any sense considering you play the same note (7 on the A string and 2 on the D string is still an E). The way I do it, you can achieve greater efficiency and speed because your hand is still in that position. I do hear the 005400 the first time and 005500 the second time though, now that I listen closely.

That's my buddy Max on the floor. He walked by right before I was about to start recording and requested to appear, so I let him do the horns. He was going to find some sock puppets, but there was no time.

The first take, he got a bit too obscene with his hand gestures. Too bad, too because that was a better take.

Nice job bro. I noticed you keep your right pinky on the pickguard when you pick real fast. I do the same thing heh.

Actually, the pinky thing is a bad habit I am working on correcting. It slows you down, and screws up the plane of your pick against the strings. Much, much better for your sound, tone, and speed if your right hand isn't anchored to the guitar.
