seriously, wtf, i'm not even coming close, and since Kanter took the vid down i think i'm screwed. Anyone have advice on how they got this part down good?

The key really is to just keep your picking hand moving at the same speed. Its more or less ALL downstrokes.

Id say this is your best bet: http://www.dmbtabs.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=12809 If that doesnt get it for you then I dont really know how to explain it, its hard and someday itll just click but it takes a while, I dont know if you know anyone that can play it but having someoen show you in person would deffinatley help. That video should help a lot though.
