Why not do Typical Situations??? That was originally a poem and has some great meaning behind it. Don't have time to help on the others though. Should be pretty apparent though from the lyrics. peace

There is a song on the Live at Folsom Field in Boulder colorado cd that talks about friendship. I think it is #7 on the first cd in that album. it's a really good song becuase it talks about something that everybody can relate to I think.

About your other question. I think ants is sort of about everyday life and the struggles that we go through every day. I'm not really good at song interpretations or anything, but I hope that helped. I dont think too much is a good choice at all, heh.

Good luck bro

Hey man, Im not knocking your choices in songs here, but I feel that there are a TON of other Dave songs that would be better suited to this topic. Ants and Too Much really are structured heavily around the guitar riffs used. Why not pick a slightly more poetic song, where lyrics are the primary focus? (ie: Typical, Cry Freedom, Seek up, or something like that.)

good suggestion.....by the way...in my high school rebels class we studied that poem that Typical Situation was written about. It's about conformity and junk :? We all learned about DMB and Dave's background. We listened to that song for three days straight non stop...How Great!!!

Typical is such an easy song to memorize. It's the same thing over and over, yet an awesome song.
