All I am doing right now is trying to keep my strumming hand in a constant rhythm. I go through spurts of seemingly getting better, then dead end and get frustrated. Sorry, but I need to vent. I've been trying to get Crush for almost a month now and I just can't seem to get the rhythm down. Maybe it’s because I am still relatively new at this, or I just haven’t practiced enough.... I dunno, it’s extremely frustrating at times though.

No offense (and please dont take this personally) but if takes you a month it get crush, I think its time to drop the song and try something else. Maybe some lessons or...something. I mean, drop it and get something easier. Believe me, if it takes you a month to learn something you practice hard at, and its called Crush, its not meant to be.DMB_FAN wrote:I know I know I know.....

No offense taken, but I don't take the quitters route. I am fairly new at playing the guitar and Dave is so far the only artist I've even attempted to play. Maybe its my fault for choosing Dave (who is awkward) to learn first , but its what im into and its not like I CAN'T play the song or that it doesnt sound like it. I just know its not right or not as smooth as it can be....Beauford33 wrote:No offense (and please dont take this personally) but if takes you a month it get crush, I think its time to drop the song and try something else. Re: Practice Practice Practice
I seriously suggest learning some easier stuff first. What's it matter if you put off the dave for a bit? Sit back, learn some of the basics and then when you move on to the harder stuff you'll be readyDMB_FAN wrote:No offense taken, but I don't take the quitters route.
