There is a thread here (Dave Tuesday Night) and people say that The Stone is boring and needs to not be played.

Whats does everyone else think?

That song is one of his best to me!

I like how the song goes from deep and dark to light and sweet. The lyrics are sweet. Leroi's baritone sax is killer on that song.

yea, the music is awesome and the words are kick ass, seems to me he is really telling a story here

kinda does pick you up, for me at least

The stones an awesome song, the music has such a great mood, it might not be as high energy but, it's just so melodic

im probably the main stone basher here...i just dont like it. the main riff is very cool, but thats about it. its very...i dont want to say angry or whatever because songs express feelings and anger is a feeling, so its ok(when dave does it, not like gothic metal people). but still, ive heard this song hundreds of times and there are no parts that stick out except the beginning). its boring(to me). the "happier' sounding part doesnt do much for me either...just seems like a typical dave thing to do. i dont know, i just dont like it very much. but it is better than some of those songs on everyday...
