I'm not bashing you here bro but I think your voice is one of those hit or miss things, either people like it or they don't. Your voice stays in key which I like, but I really just can't fall into your voice. *shrug* I can't explain why I can't either. Just one of those things I suppose

Just make sure you know I'm not trying to bust your balls ;)

But I notice that you do try to sound like Dave, but that's not really the problem for me. I don't know its just too whiney? Shit I don't know what to call it. But like I said the important thing is is that you're staying in key, so props for that

Are you listening to Dave while you play or do you play on your own?

I liked the original version I listened to before. I think you should leave out the octave lower background vocals.

If you are going to keep trying this song, I'd like to hear it maybe a half step down.

i thought it was good...what's the third note you are hitting on the intro verse? Because I know it's not the one on the tab. It sounds flat. As for the background vocals, the guy sounds kinda dead. But I thought you did a good job on the main vocals. I enjoy listening to your covers.

you know .../5(low e) , 5, "4", /5 the third one sounds off...but it could be just cause the guitar is out of tune or something.
