Red Rocks is the cd that got me addicted to DMB but Listener Supported got my vote because of #40. Although the LIOG jam at RR is awesome. Plus BTCS is my favorite DMB cd and LS has all the right BTCS songs on it.

Chicago is what got me addicted. I remember having last stop and the maker on repeat all day long at work

Dont roll your eyes at me.

There isnt a single release that has shit on red rocks. Not one. Magic in the air that night.

No, really. Youre stupid and have no taste if you think otherwise. Non-disputable.
Nothing shits on Red Rocks. Central Park, the band is tighter, playing better songs (IMO), and the band just sounds incredible.

You're stupid and have no taste if you think RR is the one and only.

Disc 1 RR is the best thing this band has ever done. But as a whole, CP is better then RR.
It was "doesnt have shit" on RR. Like, doesnt have "anything" on RR. :) Not that something shit on RR. Anyway, I know....RR isnt the one and only. But its the best. So fresh and full of life. They hadnt yet been playing for over a decade, and certainly hadnt been playing large venues for long at all. You could hear that in their playing that night. All the releases since have been polished, yes, but to the point where I can call whats coming next in a song without batting an eye. I can go online and find a lot of other shows that sound as good or better than CP or even Chicago (that wasnt even one of their better shows from fall of 98,) but you cant find anything like RR. (Just thought Id explain myself.)

And for the other guy, nothing is subjective if I have an opinion on the matter. Then whatever I think becomes fact.

I dont mean this in a condescending way, but when did you start getting into the band? I think that makes a difference in many cases.

I was a casual listener in the late 90's. I had all the albums up to then, but I wasn't a religious follower.

RR disc one is the best single disc of any live show, period, end of discussion right there. However...I think as a whole there are other shows with more energy, and you can't discount some of today's songs as lacking (BS, BTCS stuff)

Okay, fine... L@LC is not DMB... but just let the voters decide whether to vote for it or not anyway... making a new poll would be redundant and would get lesser votes anyway.

Another thing...L@LC is still a mediocre D+T show. There are alot of other shows I'd have liked to seen released.

i voted for central park. i voted for central park because...

1) i was there about 30ft from the stage
2) i've never seen a band be happier than they were that night
3) i've never seen energy from a band like that night
4) i've personally never seen dmb play a tighter show
5) the setlist, IMHO, was awesome
6) there were 100,000 people there

Red Rocks is a great album, and captured a great show for sure. I like it cause it was raw in obvious ways (like no real lyrics for DIDO), I like it because it was a great setlist, and some kickass versions of songs with kickass jams.

I've been a dmb fan since 1994 when UTTAD came out, and after 10 years, I think I'm entitled to have my own opinion without people saying things like "this is not debatable".

Did I? Why, whatever are you talking about sir? I would certainly never post such a thing.
