Why do we care about who is a "noob" and who isn't? We're all musicians and like to play dmb songs. Why does being new on the boards matter at all, really?

I am just trying to bring around peace here, I felt there was too much needless negativity.
If you mean hippie talk by me trying to bring around peace, well I guess I hippie talk to almost everyone and everything everyday.
Also, the world I strive for, listen to Imagine. A world of peace, love, freedom, union, and understanding. If you call that hippie talk, then I guess I am a hippie (even though I don't look or act like a stereotypical hippie).

I don't know, I think I enjoy harassing people via the internet a little too much for all this peace, love and understanding that you speak of.

i did it mathmatically with fractions and crap, and then the page closed, and i lost my proof, but basically, me and 6string are about equall on the noob scale, and everyone else is less than a noob, not that we are, but we both top in at the same stuff.
The fact that you don't know who 6string is automatically makes you a noob, as he's been around since the very beginning.

Noob is a term of endearment to me and any other gamer. Just like fuglie/nerd etc.. "useless negativity" is not what i bring to these boards I believe that cake goes to Gcom. Anyone with tim's pic in avatar = mad gosu (elite person) anyway.

Thats the thing, you misinterpret good natured fun for some lack of "peace" or something. Your quest for complacency goes so far that you eradicate any kind of fun, maybe unintentionally, but still. From what you describe, you want some soma world where there are no extreme emotions or something...everyone just walks around with dumb smiles on their face. I like people to get along, but I like to laugh too...and calling someone a "noob" isnt needless negativity. Its messageboard fun. Especially if the "noob" has 1000 posts and knows for sure its messageboard fun.

allot of people on here did, all i did was make a joke about 6string calling people noobs that have more posts, just a harmless joke, and everyone jumps around at eachother for it.
