I'm so excited its incredible. like last night me and my friend were talking, the most simple dave conversation ever, what songs we like...and i got this surge of excitement just htinking about what i'm gonna get to hear. and to top it off, there's a chance of ben harper playing on some of the songs. i'm really hoping he does......

Last night was a great show, but I think tonight is going to be better. Mainly cause tonight Im in the 6th row. BITCHES. There wasnt any real jamming last night either, which for me was the only downside. The solos were all really short and didnt get me all high like they sometimes do when theyre long and full of energy. I dig the new songs live.
Ben's sets have been good. He's been bringing the blind boys of alabama out to close lately, and though its really cool, I miss the usual encores. He hasnt been playing any slow solo songs like he usually does, and I'd like to hear his sets end on something I know. The new stuff is cool, but Im not huge on gospel, and its very, well, gospel.

haha,. i was seventh row at last night. last night was amazing, but it does leave a lot of room for good songs toinght. we'll see.

I get to see Ben..and Cake... and Wilco, and pat green, and trey, and jack johnson, and g. love, and the roots, and ben kweller, and los lonely boys, and MMW, and my morning jacket, and the killers, and the dirty dozen brass band, and asleep at the wheel, and howie day, and... well, a lot more people... all in 3 days. ACL rocks.
