What is DMB's best LIVE album?

Post by dbapollo »

I'm sure this had been done before. But I'm new and forgive me for doing this again. :P

Anyhow...

I think most people would agree that DMB is one of the greatest live acts ever. They're much much better live than in the studio... thus... the question:

Which of the band's live releases is the best? IMHO, Live at Luther College is the best. But I'm only one vote.

It would also hurt if you guys would rank you're votes if you have time :D

Thanks!

This is a tough one between L@RR, L@LC, and Central Park, but I gotta go with Red Rocks. two step, bowa, recently, liog, nancies, and warehouse all in a row! Pretty sick.

I hate the Red Rocks LIOG... Carter seems to have lost all sense of rhytm in it.

yeah...the one that is winning isnt DMB.

and i voted central park because every song is the best version of that song that ive heard, with the except to ants, but if it had the funk intro, it would be the best.

If Luther was applicable, I'd say that, but since its not DMB, I'd go with Red Rocks.

He seems to be hitting everything just a little too fast. Especially when it's only him, vocals and guitar playing.

I don't know.. Maybe the drums are just too loud? But it feels too fast... and that bugs me. Can't listen to it.

its just a faster pace concert. They usually try to keep the concert going at the same BPM's or at least around it. Maybe your just not use to those songs that fast. I listen to it and I always count when I listen to music (its a sickness) and its right on.
