help! broken wrist

hi everyone i broke my fretting wrist/hand thing does anyone know ne good excercises to just work on the right hand (i play a lot of metal so like speed picking stuff..but i wanna do more fingerpicking too)

Well, for finger-picking just try stuff like:

A  :----------------|----------------|----------------|

You're probably not going to play things that sound that great -- perhaps a little better than this random crap with a different tuning -- but just practice patterns.

For speed picking try stuff like this:

Use up and down picking. Just do exorcises like this. I hope you're wrist heals soon!

do that but if u want it to sound good... put a capo on the 7th fret where dave plays "oh" "stay or leave" "ynk"...it is an open tuning so it will sound good.

Try to actually stay away from a guitar. I never could. try what ^^^he^^^ said and change the tunings so you don't need to fret...
