remember me? and a recording

Unread post by gregplaysguitar » Mon Aug 23, 2004 2:03 am

Hey all, it's been a while since i've read the boards (school and work not to mention the gf take up alot of time. Anyways, just wanted to say hello and get some critiquing on a tune I wrote tonight. It's my first attempt at recording a finger picked song, as I always play with a pick, with the exception of Classical Gas.....So i've been messing around with open tunings, and this is one I came up with. Please forgive the annoying "string noises" as I used a condensor mike that was a little to sensitive. Thanks for any opinions.

Hey Greg, long time no see.
That's a cool little tune, I like it. It's got a happy vibe to it.

What the hell was that at the end? Was weird.

The ending was me getting a little overzelouse with cool edit filters. I actually wanted something like the end of karma police by radio head, just a slow decline into oblivion. Thanks for the feed back.
