when the 4 slides to 5 in the verse, the 5 isn't played again is it? having a little trouble keeping up with that second part of the verse

Dave hits the 7 occasionally..Pat isn't dave, listen to dave if you want to hear it. Dave sometimes hits the 7(early versions usually) and sometimes doesn't(more recently versions)

The seven, I think, is all up to personal choice. Sounds good either way, but I prefer it without when playing solo and with when playing duo.

okay tonite i decided to try my luck at billies for the 1st time(i have been playing for a year now, and i have been so scared of learning the verse) well, i pretty much got it down, very proud of myself.....

but the 1 thing giving me trouble is the 8 on the 6th string, then
into the 4\5

soo... i kinda alterted the tab so now i play it..... 3 on the 5th string, which is the same sounding note, into the 4\5 slide.....

does anyone else do this? and is it okay? it sounds fine to me... just curious what u guys think.. thanks

it still feels funny to me sometimes, my wrist that is - just keep practicing, it'll feel fine after you get it down
