Yeah, sorry. . .I was trying to sign up for the Benaroya DVD and for some reason I kept getting the Invalid_session error, so I wanted to see if I could post in another thread. I thought the other one was just too swamped with people.

Anyway, I tried to delete my post, but couldn't find the option. . .

You gotta love new boards. . .people are ready to pounce on you in a heartbeat.

I think it's pretty lame that these lurkers only show up when there's a B&P up for grabs. From what I read a couple of posts back willndmb wanted to learn to play some guitar and maybe give back a bit to the dmbtabs people............now all YOU people just show up..HOW RUDE!!

Anyway..just my opinion...guess we'll just have to see how long they stick around for.

Yeah, this board is new to me. . .that is what I was referring to. . .

Who cares what brought all of these new people to this board. . at least they are here. If this place was only for ones who want to play the guitar, then why is there a B&P offer? I'm sorry, but I came here because I wanted an opportunity to obtain the Benaroya DVD.

Well, yes, this site is mainly very guitar-oriented. Most of the discussions here have to do with guitar style, not a lot of the other crap (and i use that term nicely

) that goes on at a lot of the other boards. Will's doing a great thing for us and we appreciate it.

This is at heart a tab site so that is why everything on here is mainly guitar oriented. As for why the dvd was offered up here I think it is because of the vibe here and because everyone here is all about helping other people within the DMB community which often gets lost on other boards. Just a thought.

You sound like a real people person there, cool guy. Why does it matter if a thousand people register or LURKERS only show up for B+Ps? Doesn't affect you. Most people who just registered will never show up here again. So what?

Sounds like you should take up the issue w/ Will. Everytime he hosts a new tree, he tries to find a new DMB-related board to post sign-ups. Trying to get people to see that there are other places besides Nancies,Ants, Bridge, etc.

Too bad you can't see that this could bring some new good people to this board rather than looking at it in a negative light. Just so you know, I come & check things out here every now & then. Just never felt like taking the time to register till now. I'll prob continue to do the same regardless of the DVD tree being here. Later on.

It might affect some regulars who wanted the DVD but won't be able to get it because of all the freeloaders that signed up.

Well if their regulars they should be on here enough to sign up before 225 other people get there. A few exceptions should be made though for regulars who might miss out on this for whatever reason.

It might affect some regulars who wanted the DVD but won't be able to get it because of all the freeloaders that signed up.

This isn't the only place someone will be able to get this...they can get it from a b&p at some other point....it will not dissappear after this.....I just don't think people should get mad at people....maybe it's just me
