chords geniuses please help

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Yes, shane, it's all music theory, which I've had three semesters of here at college, and some before college..

Winglet, in traditional jazz chord naming, the 9th does include the 7th. Thus a more appropriate notation would be a "sus2" as opposed to the "9."

And finally, definitely don't use the Em scale, as the usual Em scale includes a D#, which does not sound good in the context of these chords unless you REALLY know what you're doing with the scale.

I think the joke/pun would be along the lines of the lod monty python joke; "the department of redundancy department"

to say they mean the same thing And are redundant is redundant...

When something has a second and a fourth in it, I always thought it would be an add9sus4 or something like that. But I don't really know much about music theory. I really wish I did, though. I'm gonna take a class on it as soon as I can.
