These are all the rules for the Guitar War.

1.) All entries must be songs by Dave Matthews Band, Dave Matthews, or Dave Matthews and another performer i.e. Tim Reynolds.

2.) Singing is not required, but highly recommended.

3.) No adding effects such as drum loops or bass lines unless they are your own.

4.) Please have all entries in by September 6th.

5.) The entry must be done as shown below so there are not any mix ups.

Entry
Level: Choose Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.

Song: Name the song you did.

Instrument/s: Write what instrument/s you used as well as whether you sang or not.

File: Post the file here

Example:

Entry
Level: Advanced

Song: Warehouse

Instrument/s: Acoustic Guitar and Vocals

File: Warehouse.mp3

Once you post the entry ill wait for all the entrys in by September 1st then ill split them up into catergories for the level you are at. And also whether there are vocals or not. Then i make a thread called for instance "Beginner Round 1: Davematthews vs. Bob9183."

Inside the thread is a poll and the two files. People vote in the poll for whos they like better and psot comments about the work in the thread. Every round will last for three days and once it is over the next round is started. which in this case would be intermediate round 1

that's not how this works. this way, you can play what you think will sound the best. the song you can play better than the rest. the song you would show off to one of us (cause we would know if you're playing it wrong or if it sounds bad.) haha
