as long as you take decent care of it, it will stay in good shape
of course the gibson would be better, but the epi would be an awesome low price alternative
film dude, you cant bash low end fenders when you plan on getting a lower than low-end gibson
as ive said many a time here, im getting a low end gibson and pimping it out, THUS making it sound better than a stock gibson chet.
read what mr. thespian had to say
im aware, i have all intensions of trading it in for a gibson... but since thats a few years off, why not invest some money in it, raise the value make it sound better than a gibson at the same time??
My first electric was a Epi Les Paul Std. and I still have it, and play it regularly. I've jammed with bands with guys that have PRS, Gibsons and other high end electrics that still love the feel and sound of my Les Paul. Not sure if Epi still has the craftsmenship they had back then.
