I play an EG540SC. and i love it

i really wish takamine would use a better system to name their guitars, i have no idea what the differences are.

I'm using the same. I thinking about trying mediums on it the next time I change strings.

I use mediums on mine......it definitely helps with the volume and lets the bassy aspects of the Ovankol come through. Definitely give it a try.

I will. It sounds like Pat is using them on his Tak in the videos. Really a full sound. My callouses are pretty built up so I don't think it will take long to get used to them.

I am getting my Tak re-strung with mediums this weekend!

Had my current set of elixirs on since the end of April and want a new pair on before I head off to college and Im definitely getting the mediums! Once I get them, I'll give you all a heads up! 8)
