i think also people these daya's don't appreciate skill. They'll hear power chorded distortion songs and people will love them. You play something that fucks up your fingers sound awesome but they won't care

yeah macht im with you...most non musicians dont get it...like, victor wooten or tim reynolds: any musician listens to them and we think "wow...absolutely amazing!" but a non musician will just be like "ok cool...i want to hear smells like teen spirit"

What's wrong with Nirvana? I hate it when somebody thinks their good and they'll bust out Stairway to Heaven, but I'd like to see them play Billies or R&R. People would probably want to hear Stairway though over any other song when they see you have a guitar. It's the way our MTV influenced shitpot of a country is!

haha nothing is wrong with nirvana its just smells like teen spirit is a very simple and easy song so i was just saying how the "brilliance" of most songs are not really recognized by non musicians...if that made any sense im not really concentrating on what im writing

My broher monopolizes my guitars and amps when he comes over sometimes. Ever once and a while it gets on my nerves cause I want to play. But as soon I start he's like, "ooo, lemme see it?"
