What segues do you like to play?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I like Typical Situation into Blue Water, then back to the end of Typical.

I always do that cool disonnant little thing chorus to start off Typical like on red rocks. I use it to end the song as well with lots of harmonics.

Bubble Toes(Jack Johnson)--->scat/beat box segue-->Steal My Kisses(Ben Harper)

Sound Of Silence--->April Come She Will
They go together well.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Today I worked out a couple new ones:

Raven--->Let You Down
Gravedigger-->Watchtower (pretty obvious)
WWYS-->IBYU (or) Cry Freedom

Just tried to put some of the new songs into segues.

The Stone ----> Hello Again
(at that weird
3 chord.)
x
1
3

SMTS ----> Joy Ride
(right after the chorus of SMTS)

Rough I know, but fool around with it enough and they sound kinda cool.

i-am-me wrote:yea, i love LIOG into Ants marching. start playing lie in our graves, then switch to ants on the part where the band comes in (Em, A, G, D)....switch to ants on the D. its really fun for me. i'll try out halloween WWYS one.
I just came here to post the exact fucking thing. Stumbled upon it the other day. That's a fun and easy segue for sure.
i don't understand what the Em, A, G, D part is
its right when the band comes in in the beginning. Its also the part at the very end of the song.
OH! That's what that was! I was playing...

Code: Select all

E:-------------
B:-------------
G:----4---6--
D:----x---x--
A:----x---x--
E:----3---5--
....and then G right?
i guess it all sounds the same though. Unless your ending the song, then it would work.
