New DMB cd?

With all these new songs being played, I am just wondering when a new studio release with be .... released (little austin powers there). Anyone heard anything, just curious?

P.S. Is that digital download for the bonnaroo set with d+f worth getting or should i just get the torrent off suprnova.org

get the torrent, i dont know, i thought they recorded the whol album in january, but i heard stefan say they only rehearsed and got those 4 songs, and that they're recording this winter, but the d+t tour goes on then. And also i mean there were announcments from the studio in seatle that said they were recording... also someone here told me, i forget who, theyre brother or something works at best buy and saw new DMB album release date for this fall.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything earlier than the winter.

me either, but if best buy has a sign of a soon release in their computers, maybe that means there will be like 3 or more new songs deputed soon,

Ya, the D+T tour is nothing but a rumor so far. It wouldn't surprise me if it happens, but I certainly wouldn't say it's a foregone conclusion.

Im not saying its official, im just saying it seems to make sense. DMB and tim end theyre summer tours 4 days apart, and tim has nothing planed thus far, except 1 show in early october. Also They recorded the album in the spring, there are photos of this. It just makes sense, that the same site that was the first to announce the san fransisco show a month or so before anyone else, said this in the same article, and the moderator of that site is someone on these boards... so basically theres a good chance it might happen.

1. I'd be quite interested in seeing these photos.
2. If said photos really do exist, that doesn't prove that they FINISHED recording.
3. They've only played 5 new songs this tour, which leads me to believe they aren't even finished writing, let alone recording.

I hate threads like this because all they do is generate rumors that people pass off as fact. Just be patient and you'll find out when the band decides to announce it.

pretty sure the pictures were just of the studio in charlottesville, and i don't think they would've played only 5 new songs - especially because they've played em every night, and no others
