Dave and Carter to Perform at Santana Tribute

Dave Matthews and Carter Beauford will be among many musicians scheduled to perform at a Santana Tribute on August 30th in Los Angeles. Carlos Santana was recently named the Latin Recording Academy's Person of the Year and will be honored for his social activism, cultural accomplishments and music at the Tribute. Other performers include Black Eyed Peas, Ozomatli, Rob Thomas, as well as Santana himself.

What do you think? Maybe we'll get JTR and Love of My Life.

its a shame we don't hear JTR anymore - people always talk about dave's riffs not being creative anymore, JTR is a great little guitar part, and i thought the band always had fun with it - oh well
