For those of you that live in the Tidewater area of Virginia (Norfolk, Richmond, etc.), Tommy Emanuel is playing 3 nights (7/31, 7/31 and 8/1) in Newport News at an old dairy barn converted into a performing arts center. $20 a show.
He is also giving a 6 hour guitar workshop both 7/31 and 8/1 for $80 each....but the best deal is for $100 you get tickets to all 3 shows PLUS both guitar workshops.
This man is an unreal player and to have a chance to learn from him in an intimate surrounding is something not to pass up.
Just thought I would give everyone the heads up.

Its only 3 1/2 hours..come on!! Saturdays show is sold out. Tickets still available for Sunday.
