I happen to come across a beautiful factory 2nd of a Seagull M6 GT at a local guitar hole-in-the-wall shop. The guy told me that Seagull only labels a guitar a factory second when it has a cosmetic glitch only, which I assume is true, but just wanted to make sure by asking here on the boards. The guitar looks flawless, I could not find anything even cosmetic wrong with it, and brand new he is giving me a hell of a deal. Do I have anything to be concerned about? (being that its a factory second)
Nah man, I wouldnt worry too much. My guitar was a factory second because there was a little swirl in the wood. Doesn't affect anything it just doesn't look "perfect". I think it looks better....gives it character.
^yeah, uit usualy means like a blemish in the wood, some companies call it B stock, like an epi chet atkins is $100 cheaper on B stock if someone acidently knocked the back and put a dent in it.
