jamming! i love hearing them jam out but when i go to a show sometimes i wish they'd cut it short so i could get more songs in. i dunno, im totally torn cuz hearing a 20 minute LIOG kicks ass but a 10 minute stone AND LIOG woulda cool too. i dunno.

valid question. but then they could fit in a 10 min warehouse, 10 min what you are, 10 min LIOG, and a 10 min stone.

i dunno though. as said before, im torn. i think its mainly on songs like satellite where i feel they should curtail the jam and gimme the songs ive yet to hear.

i was talking to my Dad about jam songs. Like you don't hear the 20 minute OMFG GOOD SONG versions on the radio. You hear the 3 minute ones. and a lot of bands won' do jams becuase they want to stay radio famous. then we talked about R.E.M.'s Losing my Religion. and thye could have done some serious shit with that.

Bottom line - I'm happy that DMB does their jams, and wouldn't mind hearing 20 minute versions but not hearing X song, or vice versa
