Ever seen Dave dropping his guitar pick?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Ever seen Dave dropping his guitar pick?

Post by The Man of The Hour »

Was playing today, and for the first time in a long time i dropped my pick. It was so suprising...kind of made me angry. I know dave has extra picks on his mic stand...but he is usually far from it when jamming...ever seen or heard anything like it?

I've never seen dave do it, but I'm sure he has at some point. I feel like such an amateur when I drop my pick. It pisses me off. The worst by far though is dropping the pick into the soundhole, then having to shake the guitar upside down for awhile. Then I REALLY feel like an amateur. (Not that I'm not an amateur, but I hate being reminded of the fact.) :)

Dave does F up from time to time. So he is human I guess. Have any of you heard the Xmas song from the 3-31-03 D&T show. He forgets the lyrics. It's pretty damn funny and he plays it off well. Leave your email if you want and I can send it to ya.

when i saw D+T at purdue, they were playing "Cry Freedom" and at one point he went into the chorus (it may have been the last chorus) about a measure too soon. and you know Tim looked up in surprise but dave recovered well. still he was hiding his laughter for the rest of the song. and Tim and him were having a good laugh when the song was over.

You're right. It's too big. Sorry. For some reason I thought you could send mp3s via email. If you know some way I can compress this thing let me know. It's at 7.1 MB right now.

My firewall won't let me send it on aim. I can't download from aim either. Sorry.

At the second night of Shoreline last year, Dave dropped his pick during So Right. Unless you were paying particular attention you would have never noticed anything.

He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
