first of all, dave wouldnt be caught dead holding a fender, in 1995 he had allot of great acoustics. Also if it was sold at an auction right after the show, how was this guy able to buy it for less that $500 a few years ago?

this is what made me and macht laugh our asses off, the pic that he says was taken after the concert of the guitar is infact the guitar used for the pic of the guitar (that the seller did not take) but you'll notice it is a flame top, its suposedly a fender for gods sakes, as it says!! so basically this is a fake auction, of a guitar this guy has no idea about, so dont get it, just use it as a laugh.

How do you know Dave's feelings about Fenders? He might think that they are perfectly fine guitars, but maybe just not for him. Unless you've read some interview or heard some Davespeak that I haven't. THIS FENDER HATING MUST END!

(And yes, the ebay item is undeniably fake)

im not saying dave hates them, but afterall, lets think, hes made millions by 1995 from UTTAD, and plays martins when not with his chet, the last guitar id expect from a man of gibson martin and taylors would play a FENDER acoustic!!! im not dissing a fender this time, im just saying, im not rich and im not the best guitarist here, and im above a fender acoustic.

He played a Strat and Tele on Everyday (he said that), not live, though, and maybe not since then.

Also, one time he was brought up onstage by a friend, and he grabbed the strat from him, saying how he never plays electrics, and he plays Crazy. I know this happened, but I don't know if there was a tape recording of it.

He did play a Fender Acoustic. The Santana Special, where he and carter and Santana played Love Of My Life, Dave plays a natural finish Fender acoustic.

I bet this is fake, though.
