All I'm saying is that if someone says, "Well here's a rendition of One Sweet World, but my guitar is out of tune and the recording sucks because half way through my mom turned on the vacuum cleaner" or some shit like that, why am I going to download it and listen?
If someone says, "Man I just spent two hours getting this down and I'm really proud of it" then I'll download it.
Humility is one thing. But I have a limited amount of hours in a day and I'm not going to use them listening to some half-assed attempt.
That's all I was saying.
Additionally, I think that at LEAST 24 hours should pass before taking offense that no one has replied.
Good playing but the overdubbing, just messed it up. Try re-recording it now that you know what you need to work on. And most people don't reply right away just give it time and be patient.
