After watching the Gorge DVD Id say this song is played with hammer ons as opposed to picking out the 0 2 0 2 0 2... parts. Just a suggestion

well maybe he doesnt, but thats how I play it cuz I always end up putting a little mute in between, or right before each note and it sounds shitty. I guess Im just not quick enough or something.

Yeah, i play every note.. it sounds fine.. just need quick alternate picking

If you watch the video of him playing it on Mrazmerized.com, you see that he picks every note.

He plays them with his pinky! I just watched the music choice video and he holds that same note he uses in just about every song (well not every, but a lot, such as grace is gone, butterfly, where are you going, etc..) and frets the 4 with his pinky.
